The Carolina Shad is 5 1/2 inches long and is one of our most popular baits. The minnow shape on the front contains a hook-slot, the body then tapers to a rat tail. The slick long tail causes the slightest movement to create tantalizing tail action. The Carolina Shad can be used in freshwater or saltwater. It can be rigged on a Shakey head, jig trailer, dropshot, Texas Rig, Carolina Rig or weightless. The Carolina Shad is made exclusively from our special virgin plastics.
